Knowing effects of UV Rays on bacterias lead us to develop a Low Cost water filter devices powered by solar panel capable to clean and filter water in rural areas where having access of clean and fresh water could be a real challenge . UV-C has the ability to destroy DNA of bacterias and Viruses , this principle we were able to develop a device which could desinfect dirty water passing through a tube being exposed directely to UV C after a process of filtering . The device is powered by a solar panel and a battery which power the lamp and the filter control system .
